Can I add the decor yet?

Hey guys, Gooch is back . This time, I have built an enclosure for my skink(yes, I know this is a tortoise forum, but the cage I built for him is basically the same as the one I built for my tortoise). I sealed it with water based polyurethane, and I am waiting for it to off gas or something like that(so there are no more fumes). I am planning on waiting a week for the fumes to go away, but can I put the substrate and all the other stuff in there WHILE it is off gassing? Or should I just be more patient, I'm in no rush . Thanks!

I think I would wait. The substrate will hold in the gases and keep it from actually expelling them or taking longer too.
