Can a Koi and Goldfish produce young?

Does anybody know for sure if a male Goldfish and a female Koi can produce offspring?

Koi (Cyprinus carpio) and goldfish (Carassius auratus) can hybridize, and either parent can be from either species. Although female offspring may be fertile, male offspring are often sterile (Haldane's rule). Fertility is also affected by which subspecies of carp is involved. Here's what these hybrids look like:

My hybrids started as black with red bellies but have changed colors drastically. My favorite one changed to a light creamy yellow with small white patches all over it's body, it looks a great deal like a puzzle.

I get hybrids a pure breds of both kinds in my pond... This year I have a hybrid that looks blue! I'm excited I hope he keeps his color

I have them too, by mistake.:p Thankfully my one goldfish that I have left is hopefully to old to have babies.:D
