A full sized Russian? I'm thinking those dimensions are still on the small side and will result in a restless Russian. See what Russian owners have to say.

Hmm ok, I'll keep looking at enclosures to purchase and see if I can find something a little bigger..

You can search bookshelf enclosures to see how others have used bookshelfs. If you can work a drill a piece of plywood with boards around it would make a large area. Another option is connecting two Zoo Med Tortoise houses together. Tortoise supply sells these too :) You can search the web or the forum for many other enclosure ideas.

A good idea is to have a plywood enclosure that is massive, and then have one long end in the front be plexiglass. Halfway down the plaxiglass, you can screw in a very thin piece of wood so the tortoise can't see out, but you can see in.
