Beginner Tortoise Mom

Hi All,
First of all, my name is Sherree and I live in the Denver/Boulder area of Colorado. And I'm a first time tortoise owner. So, William/Willa and I will be learning everything together.
It's great to post my first message here. I've spent the past few days reading all I could about the care and joy of owning a Russian Tortoise like the one I was about to get. I did get William/Willa yesterday.
I followed the care sheet as close as I could and right now he seems happy. He's basking and hiding part time and chowing down his food. He had his first soak and outside time today too. I would love to post pictures so I need to check out how to do it. So, shortly maybe he/she will make a debut.
