Oscar is awesome! But...he's in a 44gallon flat rubbermaid box. He does all these laps and tries to escape. So I taped newspapers to the sides, its opaque but maybe he could see enough to want out. Still doing laps, and trying to climb corners! The metal sides that came with the guinea pig cage (that came with Oscar) are laid on top, with heavy books on the corners. I can still watch him poke his front feet through, and he MOVES THE PANELS!

Any suggestions for a top? His outside yard is still under construction...

The shelf out of your oven with a brick or two on top?
One of the refrigerator shelves with the same two bricks?

I unloaded some winter clothes from a taller box. 106 quarts, its not as long. But the sides are tall enough I don't have to worry anymore! Busy little tortoise.

Give him a big meal...he'll get sleepy! (Turkey and dressing always does that for me! :D)

How long do you project before "Oscar's Estate" is finished?
