My tortoises never get bananas because they always eat the tree and flowers before bananas grow : (

There's a lot of sugar in bananas, so I provide mine this treat once every month or two (I do this with all other fruits as well). Despite the sugar, they still pack a lot of great nutrients for your RF. Keep the peel on.

I provide less sugary fruits once ever couple of weeks (bell peppers, many types of squash, papaya, etc.)
