Are rubarb and spinich bad for Russian tortoises. I have both in my backyard growing right now. I want to give some to Torty.

And if you have a garden, perhaps you can section part off to start Kale, Collards, mixed lettuce, arugula, mustard leaf, few flowers, etc. Then you can harvest fresh greens! The Kale and collards and some lettuces will often overwinter.

In my opinion, before investing space and time in your garden on certain greens, make sure your Tortoise likes them. I'm seeing that each tort has different likes and dislikes, just like people. My Tortoise hates kale. But loves collards. There's such a huge list of things they CAN eat. The trick is finding a good mix out of that list that your Tortoise enjoys.
