I was wondering if a few people could tell me what they paid for their star tortoises? It looks like prices are all over the place.

WC smuggled stars have always been cheap, and they always will be. Unfortunately the mortality rate of these animals is remarkably high. I wish everyone with them the best of luck as I had nothing but nightmares with the "CB" cheap Indians that I bought years ago. Out of my own production of 100+ SriLankans I have only lost one, and I am only aware of a couple of losses from customers that bought them from me. Almost always from a dog treating it like a chew toy, followed by raccoons and rats.

Though, I didn't buy an animal from you (I was planning to), my dog ate all of my 6 sri lankan star tortoises. Pretty much, I decided I couldn't go forth with another sri lankan star project

Wonderful little animals...gorgeous as well
