My regular email account is through AT&T. So I go to the mail site, click on "preferences," then on "spam," and in that window I can copy/paste email addresses that come to me that are spam. This a.m. I was going to do just that with one I received that said I had 6 messages waiting for me from this online dating service (that I don't subscribe to). However, the "from" address for this spam email was my very own address!!! How can that be?

To get around spam filters, spammers will use your e-mail address and forward it back to you. :p Clever little buggers. Not sure what to do to prevent that from happening. :(

Have you tried calling AT&T directly and telling them? I get a lot of spam, but never have gotten any from "myself"..
