Are carrot tops ok for my RT?

My son feed our RT his carrot top tonight (one small top mostly greens). Is that ok? One site says No Horrible, others say Yes Fine. The tort loved it apparently, but when I came home he was/is asleep in an odd place. So thought I'd ask everyone here.

Carrot tops are an excellent tortoise food as part of a varied diet. I feed them to all 31 of my current tortoises and I feed them to hatchlings when I have them too.
