I have a rose bush in my torts outdoor enclosure and it has aphids. Any ideas on how to treat it without using chemicals?

Ladybugs? I’ve seen some people introduce a bunch of ladybugs to eat the aphids. There are probably a lot of other options, that one just sounds the most fun ;)

Which part of the world are you in?

The Brampton I know is in Cambridgeshire, UK and we don’t have praying mantis over here :D

Ladybirds we definitely have.

The RHS has advice on non-chemical control here

This article is helpful too.

Basically you plant to encourage the aphid predators and let nature take its course.

I have washed them off with soapy water in the past. Now the bush has to do its own thing and doesn’t look perfect but does OK.

Spray them off with with water every day or twice a day morning and evening for like 5 days. That's what I did early to the population and boom no more aphids so far. The praying mantid works well also!
