This was caught in TX, any ideas? Weird domed carapace plus looks of a Cooter or something along that lines.

It looks like a Rio grande RES to me :D Just that it grew domed.

I saw a picture of a Yellow Mud Turtle that sort of looked similar and they are found in Texas, New Mexico, etc. But, I am no expert.

Anja, I never seen one so domed. Beautiful little one though. Is it perfect in every other way?

it looks like a common red ear or map, but it does have an unusual shape to it.
