I have recently started letting my tortoise live outside. Tonight I went to go check on her and I found a lot of ants around her. What are some safe ways to get the ants out without harming her?

Flood the enclosure, or shop vac them suckers out . Dawn dish soap and water then flood them out with a lot of water . Then when everything is dry put down diatomaceous earth inside and outside the enclosure . Thats the only way I have had any luck . Bring your tortoise inside away from the ants they can kill your tort .

Can they kill torts, most ants here are harmless... We don't have "fire ants", is removing them a must?
