that a hatchling will poop and or pee if your gently rub their plastron in a circular motion. I was doing this several days ago and my hatchling closed her eyes. I thought she was going to sleep, then she pooped. Then she pooped AGAIN. lol. So each day since, when I have her out for her soak, I have repeated the plastron rub and each and every time, she poops. And today she peed ALL over me like a squirt gun. LOL. I continued for another 5-6 seconds of the belly rub and she pooped. She is a poop factory.

The first time this happened, I laughed and said she was like a very young puppy or a kitten, eliminating during a belly rub. I was surprised when it happened again, and has continued to happen for the last 4 days.

Y'all probably knew this already but it's news to me LOL.

Were you holding the tortoise up in the air? This may have less to do with the rubbing motion and more to with the fact that a torts go to move when they're uncomfortable is to poo and pee all over.
