Aloe vera

I have brought some pure aloe vera gel for making moisturiser and I was wondering if it was ok to give the rest to my tortoise, she loves eating the plant and I was wondering if it was ok to give her the gel?

Look at all the other ingredients in that.

I say no. Just feed real whole cuttings from your own aloe plants.

They grow lots of shoots, so you'll have lots of plants in the future

I always end up braking the shoots, it's a young plant so it's going to take a while /:. It's a shame because she loves eating it

Hmhmh, "preservatives" and benzyl alcohol are part of the 1% that isnt aloe - i would suggest you not feed this.
