We found a snapping turtle about three years ago at a local lake. It was the size of a quarter. I sat it in my huge plant that is indoors while I went to get a bowl for water. When I returned the turtle was no where to be found. About a year later I was repotting my plant and I found the turtle buried deep in the pot. It was still alive. Luckily it had rained a lot the day before and there were tons of baby frogs outside. I caught a bunch and threw them in the pot. I put a bowl of water in the pot as well and the turtle jumped right in. A baby frog jumped into the water and he ripped it to pieces and devoured it. I was so happy and shocked that the poor baby lived. We set him free about a month later after I had fed him pretty good. These creatures are amazing.
