Aldabraman do you think when you make the move to the new property it might take a while for some of your torts to adjust?
I find it quite interesting tortoises in general are like this. My RF will literally sulk for days if I change one thing in his routine. It is probably somewhat of a survival tool for them in the wild. Sticking to where they know has been safe, where certain foods are, etc. It would make sense that they don't feel comfortable in captivity when we change something for a little while.~ Yes, we fully and totally expect our females to stop production for at least one year, totally normal. Our plans are to move them during the night to minimize the stress from relocation and transport. Based on our last moving event, it should take one year for them to readjust and acclimate.
