My hubby and I have the outdoor enclosure done for Bob! Here are some pics, I welcome all comments and ideas, we have a top it's just not done yet.. Bob won't be left out unattended til
It's done.

Looks good, I would cover it partially to provide some more shade. I was unaware that tortoises have thumbs.

Lol I don't know about ur tort but Bob turned to me and winked and gave me a big thumbs up!! I swear I even hear him talking... (okay I'm sure he doesn't have thumbs and def can't talk but done we all want to think our pet is the coolest?!! Lol)

Yes, Bob has thumbs and my leopard Tatum, loves my slobbering kisses and even sticks his head out for more.:p:D. Of course we believe that. It's true isn't it. Or do you tell little kids there is not Santa.:p:D. Looks, good. Maybe a couple more plants for some natural coverage and to make him fell less exposed. But it is very nice, good job.

Ya I'm having a hard time with plants.. I could go to home depot and by tons of plants but... I don't want him to eat them cause they might have been grown with chemicals and I don't know what ones to buy that he won't eat!!! Any suggestions and am I being to cautious with plants??

If you search your area I bet you can locate a nursery that is set up in your climate that does not use chemicals....I have a great one here within driving distance from me....:D

I have purchased plants at nurseries and they seem fine. Try looking for a Rose of Sharon, they love the flowers. You can find dwarf versions, but you can keep it trimmed by feeding the leaves and flowers to your torts.
