My two adult Stinkpot turtles do not swim very good at all and use the aquarium decorations to get to the top of the water to get air. Someone told me that they can live in a pond. To me it seems like my Stinkpots would not be able to get to the top of the water to get air and would either drown or get stressed and worn out and eventually get sick and die. I can no longer keep them in the house and actually I am trying to sell them, however, if they could go into my pond I would love to keep them. My pond is 4 feet deep. Any advice would be appreciated.

They can live in your pond . Put a branch or long in your pond ,so they can climb out . Most of the time they hangout on the sides where the water isn't deep .
