I couldn't agree more. I'm all for an eye for an eye in many crimes. When there is a death like in this, I'm all for an eye for an eye.

I guess I missed the original post. I figured if death was wished it was in the form of punishment which is legal in some states.
Just to clarify my post agreeing with it was in punishment and NOT just for the heck of it which is definitely illegal.

Yes, but even if only 10% of them survive to breeding age, that's 56 critically endangered tortoises that give the species a chance at survival in the wild. If they are kept in captivity, it's ZERO.
