I am looking at getting a incloser from Animal plastic. It will be for one sully. How long do you think this will be ok for him/her? I am following the advice from here on food, temp, etc. Right now I have them ( got two but one is going to my son in Calif in a few months) in a closed 20 gal tank. They are just little hatchlings

I usually start babies in 4x8' closed chamber. If they are started correctly and raised well hydrated in a closed chamber, they will outgrow this in about 12-14 months. Dry started and dry kept babies growing much slower and might be able to stay in a 4x8' enclosure for two years or more.

A 48x30" is only going to work for about 90 day, and thats if you have a low grower. It will take longer than 90 days for you to get an enclosure from AP. Might as well bite the bullet and get a bigger enclosure now.
