Depends on the enclosure yes. If you have a closed chamber that is not large, likely need the smaller. They put off a lot of heat.

Or is that dependent on the type of enclosure I have?

The type of enclosure, the substrate, the moisture level, the size of the enclosure, the room temperature, etc…

Only your thermometer can answer this question.

Hmmmm. Maybe the higher then. I'm leaning towards an open or semi-open enclosure which is what the breeder favours. Damp climate here and the human houses often have problems with mold. I suspect if I went for a fully enclosed set up it'd get moldy before long too.
