So I bought a plastic type container for the little RF when it gets cold. The enclosure doesnt exactly fit in its designated area and its annoying people in my house... I was also having a huge problem keeping the heat in the thing since it didnt have a top, so I wasnt super happy about it either. Looking at the area I have, a 10 gallon tank would fit PERFECTLY. I havent really become one with the idea 100%.
Do you think its okay to keep an almost yearling RF in a 10 gallon tank for cold days only? On Monday we're suppose to get a little cold front, it will be in the upper 60's LOWS and 70's Highs and its suppose to be like this all week, so buddy would be in this tank for a week... I dont want the baby outside.
I was planning on just getting the tank with the screen top and using the 60w flood bulb for the day time and the CHE for night time..
What do you think? Yay or Nay? I need to move fast if this is okay, i want to set it up and watch the temps so that when i'm at work i'm not freaking out that i'm baking the tort or freezing him..
