I was wondering if betacarotene would help improve or keep a red foot and cherry heads color? I have noticed some red foots lose there color with age. and what about Nekton-rep-color?

my red foot Enclosure is 42" x 28". my room is at 65 degrees at night. i want to get two heat emitters one for day and one for night what Wattages should i use? right now i have a 100 watt red light and its not keeping it hot enough. do ceramic heat emitters heat evenly?

are portobello mushrooms safe for my 2 cherry heads to eat? i have heard they like mushrooms.

my cherry head Enclosure get's kinda cold in some spots. half (right side) of it stays at 75 to 80 the other half ( left side) gets down to 64 is that ok? this is my set up the silver dome is a night light. the substrate has a heating cable in it so it helps keep them warm.

is sphagnum moss good to use with my red foot? i was told its good to mix peat moss with the eco earth. will sphagnum do the same thing? i also read that u should mix sand and eco earth 50/50.

i am getting two cherry head x red foot cross! they are a little over a year old. the breeder is getting me the two with the best color. should i ask for a male and a female or does it matter? i have the cage all most set up. it will be finished by time they get hear and i will post pics

i set up a enclosure thats a black pond liner thats 4' by 2' it has eco earth and im going to mix Zoo Med Excavator clay. im going to have 2 uv lights and 2 heat lamps. and a nice water dish. i wanted a more natural set up. i want to put two 12 week olds in it. anything i should add or change?
