Hey there everyone! Primarily everyone who helped me get through the first week or so my my sick little Leopard Tortoise. It's slowly but surely improving! It's got a great tor table (5' x 3') UVB lamp, 2 ceramic heating elements to keep it nice and warm, plenty of room to move, planted barley and wheat grass and bermuda grass. Plenty of places to hide, a cool side with shade (stays about 65 degrees and about 60% humidity). Basking stone stays about 100 degrees and then on the warm side of the table I created a humid hide. Just took an idea from @Tom I think and got a black plastic tub, turned it over, and cut a hole in it for an entrance. It's near the ceramic heating element and it has a flat slab stone in front of it to help it stay warm. Cypress mulch inside and I keep it pretty wet. It stays about 85 degrees and about 80% humidity. That's where the tort sleeps most of the time.

But it's coming out every morning, not hiding, drinking, and eating like a horse!! It will bask for a while, then eat again. I still soak it several times a day. The vet said to keep the calcium up because it's definitely calcium deficient. It's shell is a bit soft, so I hope there's no long term damage.

Thank you all again for your help! Tort is up to 168g, so slowly but it's a little fighter!!
