Is it safe to add organic plant food for the seeds i am growing for my tortoise. Does anybody add anything to their seeds? I am growing them in just organic soil.

I don't add anything and just use soil from the yard for seed germination, I do use sulcata poo to enrich the soil around some larger plants at times though.

Its fine to use fertilizers as long as the tortoise doesn't have access to the actual fertilizer product. Feeding foods grown in fertilized soils are fine. I use fertilizers in some of my raised planter boxes.
