I don't know about in Texas, but here in Central California my fruited mulberries already have berries and they're already turning color.Too late for me to cut them back to prevent fruiting. Many of my trees are 10-20 feet tall. I can easily feed him the leaves but do I need to be sure the fruit stays out of his enclosure? Is it harmful or just something to avoid?
