Usual nesting season for me is from September till April , in another word season just started .

Sam,ok i see,thanks for ur information ^^Not really , but I prefer to use hard boiled egg shell . If smaller specimen I grind the shell first .

I just love how round they look. Instead of cuttlebone they eat eggshells? Very interesting.
Cuttlebone are given too . These eggshells are given only if available ( in large quantity when my kitchen need the eggs for cooking - Spiced Corned Egg )
I do feed them whole boiled egg too ( infertile or early dead embryo poultry egg ) depending on species i.e. Footed , Manouria .....
