Opuntia has calcium, lots and lots of calcium. In 100 grams of dried pad there is on average 4 grams of calcium. The phosphorus is very very low.

These following values are based on a composite of data collected from many sources.*

Minerals Units of dry matter Average Standard Deviation Minimum Maximum
Calcium g/kg 38.8 12.9 16.5 52.3
Phosphorus " 2.0 1.3 0.5 4.2

Six (6) ounces delivered for $28.95, that's the best deal going.

A half ounce portion both dry and ready to use after 20 minutes submerged in regular cold tap water. Or overnight in the frig. I no longer recommend hot water. Mix in with regular salad fixens for the day, about 5% of total amount fed once or twice a week.
