So last week I went to petco to buy some stuff for my fish tank and I saw a beautiful , round , smooth shell male russian tortoise , I have to admit I was surprised that they had the tortoises in a big enclosure and they were feeding them with real food ! (Romain lettuce and other greens) they had a nice water dish and everything was great including costumer service , well today I received a call from petco ! Asking me how my Russian was doing and other stuff, before they finished talking to me they said that if I had any problems with him I could go and talk to them anytime ! I can sure tell u guys I'm always going to do my business with them ! AMAZING SERVICE ! this is the first time I know personally a store worries about it's animals , so cool !! .

Yes ! I'm really happy they did that because not only shows they care about their costumers but most importantly they care about their animals and how they are doing .

That is great that they are a good store. Some are some aren't, it's all about the employees and management for each store. The one by me has always had the Russians set up properly. Congrats on your nice Russian too

That's awesome! I wish my experience with my Russian at PetSmart was that great. I got a lot of misinformation and they couldn't really answer my questions at all. :/ Glad I had TortoiseForum to straighten me out! (;

I got a really cool-one of-a-kind Russian from Petsmart.

She wears a Hermanns costume because she wants to go unrecognized. I only hope it doesn't matter too much because her paperwork says "Russian"

Hahaha that just made my night ! I can't believe they did that ! There so many ways to tell a Russian and a Herman's apart from each other lol
