Our 2 adopted sulcata's are outside full time in what I'm calling the temp pen. It is cinder blocks with a wire top. We are currently working on building a large out door enclosure .

They are currently 3 years old. Rosie is almost 3 /12 pounds and toothless is almost 2 1/2 pounds . My question is do y'all think they would be ok in an encloser that is uncovered ?

Sorry, I don't know what size that is. I don't measure smaller ones by pounds. How long are they? In most cases birds and other predators won't mess with them when they are over 5-6 inches. Dogs and raccoons are still a threat at that size, but I don't use covers once they grow past 4-5 inches. I do either move them indoors, or latch them into their night boxes every night though. If these enclosures are just for daytime sunning, you are probably okay to leave them uncovered, as long as no dogs are present.

I just measured them . And the bigger one (Rosie) measures at 5.5 inches
And the smaller one (toothless) is measuring at 5 inches. They have grown quite a bit since we adopted them
