Hello there everyone, Now it's getting cold here on Egypt, and my tortoises are out in their pen. I have 5 Greeks and 4 Egyptians and This is the 1st year to me with them so I don't know what to do in the rainy or cold days? should I make an indoor enclosure for them or just leave them out? it becomes around 5 to 10 degrees C at night and around 15 to 25 degrees C in the morning? Please help me

Hello Sam welcome to the TFO from AZ, USA . I have greeks and Egyptians . I've been told that Egyptians don't hibernate and golden greeks don't hibernate but my non- golden greeks I hibernate every year . I fill the top of a 2part plastic dog house with straw and put it on the ground in the Greeks enclosure and they go under the straw for our 4month winter .

@Grandpa Turtle 144 Thanks a lot .. I know that Greeks and Egyptians don't hibernate so I'm making a new outdoor enclosure these days w with a polycarbonate roof to protect them from rains and cold air :)
