hello everyone
i have a red eared slider , and i'm worried that it's too cold for him.
i keep him in a tank with no filter and he has a little thing he can sit on.
i live in Egypt and it's kinda hot here so i have my ac on all the time from 20 degrees to 26 degrees C.
is it too cold for him ?

Does he have a UVB bulb and a heat spot to warm up under? They need to bask under a heat source.

The UVB that they need is greatly diminished going through glass and screen and is really not helpful to them. You need to get a heat bulb and a UVB bulb. If you get a mercury vapor bulb, it has heat, UVB and light all in one bulb. It's okay for the temp to drop a little at night, as long as he can bask and warm up during the day.
