Can a russian tortose eat wild strawberries? I think they can but I want to make sure if I'm right.

I bought this thing called an eggling and (hopefully) it will grow a wild strawberry plant. I got it because I thought it will be cool and then I realize I can give the strawberries to the russian tortoise it it does grow.

(By the way no russian tortoise yet. I'm waiting till after I get back from Korea to get a russian tortoise.)

Yes, they can have them, not part of a regular diet though. Be sure the plant doesn't have any type of fertilizer.

I have many, many wild strawberry plants in all my box turtle pens. There are always little red berries with one bite taken out of them, but not the whole berry eaten. This has made me believe that they aren't very palatable. I doubt your Russian tortoise would be interested in the berries, but he may eat the leaves of the plant.
