So we put out bird seed for the quails and such. They eat it and then when they poop it out it grows in our landscaping where we have the drip. They look like short corn stalks. They grow like crazy....I pull them and and 2 days later they are all back. Can I feed it to my Sulcatas? They are almost 3 months old and I have a 3 year old rescue one. Thanks!

The "short corn stalks" growing from your bird seed are either milo or millet, both large grasses. They aren't coming back after you pull them; rather more seed is sprouting. Your torts would enjoy the sprouts when they (the sprouts) are small and tender, but might find more mature plants very tough.

Ok. Thanks. Yea, I knew they weren't "coming back". I guess I worded it wrong. I meant that I always have an abundant supply. :).

Absolutely agree with Edna. You can also plant those seeds for your sulcatas they will chow them down...
