wierd possibly territory marking?

my goliath comes up to me and rubs his backside and top back part of his shell on me everytime I sit on the floor, is this normal behavior ? marking his territory maybe ?

My male does the same thing and I have also wondered why he does it. I like the saying "hootchie cootchie" dance Maggie Buddy definitely does it when I rub his back side.

he does do that as I scratch/ rub his top back toward his tail didnt know that was a "hoochi coochi" dance lol thats ummm nice to know I guess lol

kinda off topic but my res did that with my fingernails when he was shedding scutes, I figured he just had a booty itch as I imagine shedding must be kind of itchy. He just backed that little booty up to my hand and wiggled side to side under my fingernails.
