My little baby leopard who I just recently got a few months ago has had white spots on his shell even when he first arrived here. He has a split scute but I don't think that would affect him at all. Here are some pictures. Please help!ImageUploadedByTortForum1374126982.327789.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1374126998.353570.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1374127017.799916.jpgImageUploadedByTortForum1374127036.883644.jpg

Its just new growth :) as he gets bigger he'll get white spots and then Black and then white etc. Nothing to worry about its just how they grow. Pretty awesome to watch actually.

My little Cloudy has them too. Just this morning I noticed the white part is getting bigger. Since it means he's growing, I took some pictures so I can compare later

That is new grow marks. It also has some pyramiding. Have you read Toms threads below in my post? The sulcata one is also a correct way for raising a leopard. 80% humidity with 80 degrees all over and the 95+ basking spot.

Thank you and I'm not sure I I have been following some of those requirements so I definitely need to check that out.

He's just growing, so that's good! I do think you have some pyramiding and would advise more humidity and appropriate temps to go with the increased humidity. Please read Tom's care sheets!
