My red slider has been raised from birth in an aquarium in my home. It has heated water. It is now about 6" in size and is big enough to join my other red sliders in their outdoor pond. The pond is about 1000 gallons and about 20" deep. There is a place for the turtles to get out of the water and sun. I live in El Paso. TX and the nighttime Temps are in the mid 40s. The indoor Aquarium temp is 80 degrees all of the time.
My question is: when can I put my indoor red slider outside full time?
Thanks in advance

I would wait till it warms up a bit so it doesn't have to deal with colder temps it's first experience outside.
