when should babies start eating?

I had two eastern box turtles hatch naturally 6 days ago (9/12/17) ive tryed pill buggs and red wigglers when will they start eating?

It can take up to month. The yolk sac provided plenty of nutrients to sustain it during this time. I soak a few Omega one pellets on all my soaks just to add a few more nutrients in the water. The sooner I get them to eat the pellets the quicker and IMO the easier to introduce other food beyond live protein.

Mine liked small crickets best when she was a hatchling (desert box turtle)
