What type of leopard tort is this?

Leopards come in many colors and even the patterns are not identical. They are as unique as fingerprints. They also change some as they age The one above is very blond - some might call that " high white". A little more rare I believe.

But look at his back feet. It almost looks like a tortoise statue, doesn't it? Why are the back feet like that?

There is no way to know for sure from a picture in most cases. Many of them from many parts of their range have all been bred together for decades. The tortoise in the pic looks to me like the ones we call "normal" leopard tortoises over here, but there is no telling what genetics he/she is carrying around. The South African variants are few and far between in captivity.

Here are some of the picts from her growing up. Her whites are starting to take over. I think they are beautiful (btw in one of the picts shes sniffing a crumb, she didnt eat it so dont worry.)
