what to feed a sulcata?

Hey guys! I recently invested in a tortoise, and i love it! But, i just need to know what to feed him, i live in northern utah, and am not sure what is around here that would be okay? Also, does he have to have heat during the night?

You will need night heat especially with a baby. He will need a humid enviroment to grow smooth & you can not have a cool humid tank, it will make him sick. A che will help you with heat for at night. It puts off heat but no light.

A uvb light is also a must! Do NOT buy a coil style bulb. They have been thought to have caused eye damage & its not worth the risk. You do not want to go cheap on a uvb source since your little one will be inside most of the winter. These are really good & provide heat for day as well:
