Ik I’m doing some wrong and stuff I just want any suggestions I just changed the substrate bout two weeks ago I got a 16 year old Russian tortoise

what size tank is that? you could probably find a plastic bin that is larger and significantly cheaper. or a grow tent.

Your Russian needs a much larger enclosure, think 4 ft x 8 ft (the size of a standard piece of plywood from the lumber store).
