What is this?!?

I came home home today to my little redfoot hanging out in his hide. I could tell he hadnt been out and i had to clean the hide so i took him out. To my surprise he stayed still for a while, when he moved i found this thing where he was. Its a mustard like color and appears to have the consistency of like pudding/jello. He hasnt pooped at all since we brought him home on friday. Hes eating kale and romaine lettuce. Please help im worried he might be sick

Hi Dale:

If he's new to his environment, he's probably just scared. They usually take a few days to feel comfortable and start to come out.

When you see mucous like that it sometimes means the tortoise needs to be de-wormed with Flagyl to kill off protozoan.
