Just posting to get feedback.

This is the home of 3" CherryHead Tortoise... I added the following items today... Lettuce plants and stone.

All feedback is welcome.... I am learning.

Hi Alex:

It looks nice except for the fact there's no place for the baby to hide. Also, it would be good to have it more "planted," even with fake plants, so he can get out of the direct "sun" some of the time.

Sorry didn't post that the unit has a place for him to hide and also that it's inside house. I have added a picture of enclosure I'm using.

I will add more plants like you said Yvonne.

Looks nice!
Check craft stores (Michael's, etc.) for fake plants. I hear the silk fake plants hold more moisture than plastic.
You can cluster them in a group.
Good job!

Hobby Lobby will sometimes have sales, about 50% off all their fake plants. Just gotta look around every other week.

I would make sure that the tag of the plant doesnt say that the colors will run. I noticed that some fake plants said that and others didn't. Also when I got home I sprayed a small piece of the plant with a papertowel under it to make sure no color came off.

If you sign up on Hobby Lobby's site they will mail you 40% off coupons every week, my wife lives at Hobby Lobby and spends all day sunday browsing their one page ad wishing they were open....LOL

Looks good, I don't think I could add anything that hasn't been suggested. The box is a cool base enclosure.
