We are picking up a 2 year old sulcata (5-6 inches) with her enclosure in a couple of weeks. She will get to go outside and graze daily in her outdoor enclosure, weather permitting. What bulbs do I need for her inside enclosure? She is coming with a UVA/UVB bulb, but I don't think she needs it if I'm taking her outside 4+ days a week. We are in Louisiana. What heat bulb do you recommend?

You'll need either a CHE or an RHP set on a thermostat to maintain ambient day and night, and then a basking bulb on a timer. I like to use 65 watt flood bulbs from the hardware store for basking and adjust the height of the fixture to get the correct basking temperature.

Give these a read through:

Thank you so much. These were the exact articles I was trying to find. I had found an article about indoor enclosures, but it didn't answer my questions. Thanks Tom!
