Hello, my little Herbie has been given the all clear from the reptile vet. His nose is clear and I haven't seen any bubbles at all. When I listen to his breathing it sounds completely clear through his nose and chest. Also he doesn't have worms. However, he does seem to make this little clicking sound esp when he goes to the bathroom! Is this normal??

Torts can make healthy noises while breathing, eating (my tort's jaw clicks), pooping (yes they can fart), etc. Make sure a fecal float test has been done to check for all parasites, not just a visual check for worms.

He's probably just straining.

Ah thankyou that's put my mind at rest!

His breathing has improved loads since my last post. He's adjusting to his new home, is at the right temp and it seems to have improved quite dramtically in the last 2 weeks.

He still does make the noise but only for a little while while he's going to the bathroom.

I really appreciate your advice!
