Hello!
Does anyone know if this is ready for my baby sulcata to eat? I read somewhere that it has to be a specific height before they can eat. I planted a
Mix of seeds bought from sulcata grove. My plan is to plant a few more flowers and weeds for him to have as variety of foods.
Thank you

Greetings. Not sure where you read that, but young Sulcatas don’t take to eating tall fresh grass on their own. Most folks will cut fine blades if grass like you have & sprinkle that on the other food that you are feeding. Once they are older, they will devour it. For now, trim & use as a topper to your feed.

✅ It is good to start offering them a wide range of food.

You can cut it and feed it at any time. Be sure to cut long strands like that into small pieces with scissors or it will bind up in their intestines. I mix the cut pieces with chopped up greens.

You plants look leggy. What that indicates to me is that you need more light on your plants.

Plant a whole bunch of different types of spineless opuntia pads too. Those make EXCELLENT tortoise food and offer a lot of hydration and lubrication for your tortoise's GI tract when it starts eating dry hay in a couple of years. It will take years for your cactus stands to mature, so plant lots of them now.
