Franklin is around 3 years old and is growing like a...weed (bad joke). She is always starving in spite of having access to a huge yard of grass.

Lately she has taken to hanging around our sliding glass door to come inside hoping to score some treats. Well, she can chow down practically a whole head of escarole etc.

Last weekend I picked up some Timothy hay and orchard grass but was worried she would turn it down. I cut up and soaked it and mixed it with her grassland food and it was a hit! She filled up pretty fast.

Just another wonderful milestone in my tortoise rating experience!

Yes, my kids loved the show when the kids were young so it was an obvious choice. When the vet said "it's a girl" the name stayed lol.
