I landscape my cages, and they both have a slight downward slope.
Getting water to evenly distribute has been a challenge, spray bottles simply mist and do not lay down enough water.
Splashing water made the substrate splat to the walls and onto my objects in the cage.
Someone else showed their method which I tried on a small scale since I do not have much big open space.
But then I came up with this, and it has worked SOO well!
Hope you enjoy
Under the pics I also wrote up how this idea came around and how I keep good moisture in my Three Toes cage.

The stick in Action! normally I swing it back and forth over the cage...

In my TTT cage I also have a tube curried under the substrate in an S shape all the way down the cage, a few holes here and there to maintain deep moisture. But it makes convenient passes through both the good hides I have for him, with more holes cut in the tube, to keep give him a nice comfy place to sleep. He also has a hide under a fake plant that gets much less water, it is often his afternoon hideout.
