About 20yrs ago when I was breeding veiled and red panther chameleons all anyone would ever talk about were Vita Lites. Are they still considered to be any good? Can they be used for overhead lighting for Sulcatas?
I still have a couple of those laying around. Haha. They didn't work then and they don't work now. Great for lighting up the enclosure though. I have one on my fish tank right now.
The best light for UV is the sun. If you can't get that then the next best thing is a Mercury Vapor Bulb. These came out around 10 years ago and they are actually effective on the animals in real life.
